The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has berated the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke for performing woefully in the last three months of being at helms of affairs in the State.

The Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Rabiu Musa-Kwankwaso, has vowed to adjust the naira redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN. 

Ogun State government has accused the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of orchestrating the violent protest that erupted in Sagamu town of the State on Monday morning.

Abdullahi Adamu, t he National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, has said the party is in support of the position of its governors on the naira redesign policy.

At least Ten State Governments in Nigeria have asked the Supreme Court to set aside the pronouncement of President Muhammadu Buhari’s banning of the old N500 and N1,000 currency notes.

  The sum of nine hundred million Naira for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) was recovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

  The scarcity of new naira notes may worsen from Monday with bank workers set to begin a strike. According to reports, the industrial action, is owing to attacks on bank workers by depositors of the old N,1000, N500 and N200 notes. 

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has debunked ordering commercial banks to start accepting the old N500 and N1000 banknotes.
