Karim Adeyemi: Fufu aides my speed

 Karim Adeyemi, a Nigerian-born German forward, disclosed that the Nigerian food, ‘fufu’ has aided his speed tremendously.

The Borussia Dortmund forward made this known in the post-match interview in the 1-0 win against English football outfit, Chelsea in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash on Wednesday, February 15.

Adeyemi scored the only goal of the game in the latter part of the match.

The 21-year-old football superstar picked up the ball from his own half before dashing towards the opponent’s where he rounded the goalkeeper before putting the ball at the back of the net.
